چکیده
Designer 2D materials where the constituent layers are not aligned may result in band structures with dispersionless, "flat" bands. Twisted bilayer graphene has been found to show correlated phases as well superconductivity related such flat In parallel, theory work discovered that and superfluidity is determined by quantum geometry topology of structure. These recent key developments merging a flourishing research topic: understanding possible connection ramifications on induced moir\'e multilayer other systems. This article presents an introduction how governs platforms including, beyond, graphene. We explain new type TBG could affect superconductivity, pinpoint geometric contribution its Beretzinskii-Kosterlitz-Thouless (BKT) critical temperature, mention beyond TBG. Ultracold gases introduced complementary platform for effects comparison made materials. An outlook sketches prospects twisted systems providing route room temperature superconductivity.

Superfluidity and Superconductivity in Double-Layered Quantum Hall state
We discuss and review the basic physics that leads to superfluidity/superconductivity in certain quantum Hall states, in particular the so-called double-layered (mmm) state. In the K-matrix description of the quantum correlation in quantum Hall states, those states with det(K) = 0 contain a special correlation that leads to superfluidity/superconductivity. We propose a four-terminal measurement...
متن کاملSuperfluidity and Superconductivity
I AM sorry that Professor Landau was unable to come for two personal reasons. The first is that I have worked on this problem of helium upon which he has also done so much, and I would have liked to have spoken with him about it. The other reason is that I wouldn't have had to give this lecture. Quantum mechanics was developed in 1926, and in the following decade it was rapidly applied to all k...
متن کاملKinetic Energy Driven Superconductivity and Superfluidity
The theory of hole superconductivity proposes that superconductivity is driven by lowering of quantum kinetic energy and is associated with expansion of electronic orbits and expulsion of negative charge from the interior to the surface of superconductors and beyond. This physics provides a dynamical explanation of the Meissner effect. Here we propose that similar physics takes place in superfl...
متن کاملVortex Density Models for Superconductivity and Superfluidity
We study some functionals that describe the density of vortex lines in superconductors subject to an applied magnetic field, and in BoseEinstein condensates subject to rotational forcing, in quite general domains in 3 dimensions. These functionals are derived from more basic models via Gamma-convergence, here and in the companion paper [4]. In our main results, we use these functionals to obtai...
متن کاملLocal quantum coherence and superfluidity
We consider a model of bosons on a regular lattice with a kinetic energy due to hopping among sites and a potential energy due to strong on site interaction. A superfluid phase is expected when the ground state of the local energy is doubly degenerate. We consider a new scheme of simmetry breaking associated to the superfluid phase in which the order parameter is the statistical average of the ...
